1. How can/should social media be used to help you develop/collaborate/communicate as a professional? What are the critical issues to consider?
2. What would you do if you were to come across an inappropriate post made by one of your students outside of the school. Do you address the post and, if so, how? Whom do you involve in the conversations? What considerations must you make in determining your course of action?

I liked your idea about following Desmos- I did as well. I do not know much about Snapchat so we should talk about that soon. You point out many of the same things that I do in this area, our connections with students will influence how we approach a situation sometimes. "The times they are a changing"!

I like that you're keeping your Facebook personal and using Twitter for school. It's important to be able to distinguish between the two. I also agree with your "different levels of inappropriate" especially when it comes to taking disciplinary actions. If only we could get kids to understand the fall out from social media posts...
